Letter to the family

Dear future Host Family,

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. My name is Sheila Mae or you can call me Sheila. I am currently an Au Pair here in Denmark.

In my spare time, I love to watch movies, youtube videos, sing karaoke songs, and cook. I have a long list of things that I like to do, indoor, outdoor, and water activities. I also love reading, especially inspirational and motivational books. Some of my favorite authors are Rick Warren and Bo Sanchez. They were both amazing.

The last two years of my teaching experience were fruitful. I am blessed to have my experiences to be able to use them for my future host family especially to the host kids. I am really passionate about teaching babies and toddlers. It is amazing to be able to witness their growing years and the milestones that they went through in the process of learning. It was wonderful to be with them as they are having fun while learning. Being around babies, toddlers, and kids is what my heart jumps for joy.

I would love to become your next Au Pair because I adore children and enjoy spending time with them. I am mentally prepared and I am well aware of the fact that it is like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just playing and fun. I believe I have the necessary childcare experiences to use while I have my siblings of my own, I have taken care few of my cousins, and I have two years of teaching experience with preschool toddlers.

Hello, dearest Family! I am a loving, trustworthy, and responsible person, daughter, friend, and teacher. I am a former Preschool Teacher in the Philippines. I am worked as a Lead and Assistant Teacher for toddlers. I worked from August 2017 to May 2019. For the past 2 years of working with toddlers, it has been a joyful and meaningful experience for me. Being with kids was fun. It will make you feel youthful always. I love being around them. I am truly amazed at how they have learned so much for the past months that we have been together. Handling and dealing with kids was not new to me. Since I have two siblings, a girl who is 13 years old and a boy who is 12 years old. I learned how to take good care of them because I'm the eldest daughter of the family. I am an easy-going person. I am not picky. I am an open-minded person and can do any decent job.

For all of my life, I am looking forward to work abroad. It was my childhood dream. There was a burning passion inside my heart to work overseas. It was all because of my family. I am living and working for them. I am a family-oriented person. I am doing this for my parents and siblings. I love my family so much. They are my treasure.

I want to be a big help to your family. I can do any housework. I am good at cooking and washing the dishes. I can easily adapt to change. I believe change is inevitable.
