Experience

As an au pair in Denmark, I have had the opportunity to care for three children—a 1-year-old baby and two girls aged 5 and 8. My daily responsibilities include assisting with their morning and evening routines, preparing meals (including Danish dishes), and engaging them in fun and educational activities. I help the older children with their homework, accompany them to school and activities, and ensure they feel supported and cared for. With the baby, I focus on playtime, feeding, and nap schedules, always prioritizing their safety and well-being.

Beyond childcare, I also assist with household tasks such as cleaning, organizing, laundry, and maintaining a tidy home. This experience has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and strong time management skills, balancing different responsibilities while being part of a family’s daily life.

One of the highlights of my time as an au pair has been the opportunity to travel and experience new places. Living in Denmark has allowed me to explore different cities and regions, immersing myself in Danish culture, traditions, and way of life. I have also traveled outside of Denmark, which has broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation for different cultures. Through these experiences, I have become more independent, open-minded, and adaptable to new environments.
