Hello,

My name is Inès, I'm 20, I live in France and I'm currently a student at the University of Geneva (in Switzerland, yes, but I live on the border in France).
I've always dreamed of being an au pair in an English-speaking country, to improve my English but above all to live a new experience.
I've always been at ease with children, and for a long time I've been babysitter (since 2021), usually on weekends, often for the same families. Then I had the opportunity to look after a child on a regular basis during the year 2023-2024, from Monday to Thursday evenings (5.50 pm to 10.30 pm) and Friday evenings (5.50 pm to 11.30 pm). I loved looking after him and I built up a very strong bond with this child, with whom I'm still in contact, and this taught me a lot about the patience you need to have with children, the diversity of play activities, helping with homework... That's why I'm even more interested in becoming an au pair. I can of course give you references.
Repeating my year and lucky enough to be able to do distance-learning course, I'm volunteering to become an au pair with your family. My studies won't interfere with my work with the children, as it's obviously the children who come first, and I'll take advantage of the times when they're at school or sleeping to revise, if that suits you.
I'm a very simple person, very cheerful, I'm also someone you can trust and rely on, I have a driver's license, I know how to cook, I love to travel and I particularly like to read. So, I want to discover new things, have a new rhythm of life, deepen the learning of the English language, and having always lived in the same place I am very happy to create new habits elsewhere, I am very open-minded so I will be more than grateful to discover new culture.
