Sophie (24 / Ms. ), Scottish, Researcher living in Spain looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Spain for 10-12 Months

Dear Family host,

My name is Sophie, I’m 22 years and from Scotland. I moved to Barcelona in 2021, to complete my masters in Biomedical Science. Along-side this I have been nannying/babysitting various families aswell as teaching english through play and learn. Now that I have completed my placement I am looking to start with a family more hours a week.

I’m searching to become an au pair as I love working with children. I am currently teaching English online as I have qualified for my TEFL course. I am also teaching English in Barcelona with a family, through play. I much prefer interacting in person as I can build a stronger relationship with the family and be an excellent role model for the children.

From a young age, I have had many younger cousins who I absolutely loved looking after. I also have a younger brother who is now 5, so I am very experienced with babies to teenagers. I love entertaining children and caring for them.

I am an excellent house guest, as I am very clean, respectful and enjoy cooking. I’d ensure the house was tidy and clean as I have experience of being a cleaner. It’s also very important for me to get along with and build relationships with the people I live with. Therefor I’d enjoy spending time with the family, cooking for them and eating together. I also love animals and would be so happy to look after any pets you may have.

I'm also open to live-out positions as I have a flat at the moment in Barcelona.
