Letter to the family

I am 20 years old and my name is Rosie.

I love children and have naturally always taken care of those younger than me. I have previously Au Paired in France, where I took care of a 10 year old, a 6 year old, and an 18 month old. And also in New York where I looked after a 5 year old boy. I am grateful to have had both experiences and learnt a lot from them. In both cases the host families and I continue to stay in touch and are very fond of one another.
I am very calm and patient, I think this is what makes children like me. We bond very quickly.

Experience

I have looked after many children, they are all so unique and wonderful. I am amazed at the range of personalities found in such young people but I know that they all need to be shown love and kindness and respect. For some children it can be more difficult meeting new people and getting to know a new au pair / nanny and I think one of my strengths is through making children feel comfortable.
