Letter to the family

Hi to my future host family,

My name is Rachael and I am a Nanny who lives and works in Sydney, Australia. I am 24 years old and have graduated University with a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies. I'm very friendly, and smiley, and can't wait to work overseas with your family. I'm looking for a unique experience abroad, and so excited to work with your children. I'm interested in lots of sports, skiing, theatre and performing arts. I'm a keen tutor and homework helper as well.

I have 8 years experience in childcare and nannying.. and could speak at length about why I would qualify for the position. Let's have a video call as soon as we can, and see if we fit!

Experience

I have worked as a Private Nanny for 5 different families, some high profile in Australia. I have worked with all ages from newborns to 15/16 year olds, and I have managed up to five children at a time. I have helped with swimming lessons, gymnastics lessons, skiing, dancing and performing arts. I have done the school pick ups and drop offs as a part of the regular schedule. I have stayed overnight and been offered Au Pair positions before. I have driven children in my car, safely in different car seats for children, and I have helped administer first aid. I currently hold an up-to-date First Aid and CPR certificate. I'm a confident English teacher and speaker, and happy to assist with lessons for the whole family.
