Dear host families,
My name is Luna, I’m 19 years old and from the south of Germany. I graduated from high school in summer 2023 and went straight to New Zealand for a work & travel year. During my time there, I completed the First Certificate in English (FCE) and had the chance to explore the beautiful nature and culture of the country, which was an unforgettable experience.

Since coming back to Germany, I’ve been working in various jobs while taking time to figure out what I’d like to do in the future. One thing I’ve always been sure about, though, is that I want to become an au pair. I believe it’s a wonderful opportunity to travel, experience new cultures, and do something meaningful by supporting families and spending time with children.

I come from a big family and have always been surrounded by kids. I have two younger siblings, my sister is 6 and my brother is 12 and since my mom works full-time, I regularly help out by cooking, driving them around, or just keeping them entertained after school. I’ve also been babysitting for neighbors and family friends since I was 13 and have worked at a holiday program for children.

I would describe myself as open-minded, responsible, and warm-hearted. I’m really excited about the chance to become part of your family and share everyday life with you and your children.
