Hello host families! My name is Iris and I am an American in college. I have always traveled and I've worked with kids for the last three years, which is why being an Au pair is what I want to be. I am outgoing, responsible, and always happy to go along with whatever the week brings. I value enriching children in activities, like taking them to the zoo or to the pool. I believe that nannying is not just looking after kids, it is about engaging with them to make sure they are always having a good time. I have taught children in classrooms, nannyed for the past two years, and have babysat kids ranging as young as 10 months to 14 years old. Most recently, I traveled to Costa Rica for a month volunteering at a day care where there were few teachers.
