Hello, my name is Lorena, I'm 21 years old. My favorite color is blue. I have a 17-year-old little brother. I have a cat named Blanquito and another named Fritz. I love playing sports and spending time with my family, friends, and partner. I have a car and have had my driver's license for two years. I have a degree in leisure and free time instruction, and I'm finishing a higher degree in teaching and social and sports animation, with very good grades.

I am a very responsible, dedicated, organized, independent, and focused person. I never cause problems. I'm very outgoing, which is why I have no trouble socializing or interacting with other people. I am very empathetic. I know how to put myself in each person's situation, and that helps a lot to understand children and give them space to express their emotions and help them understand them.

I've been working with children since I was 17, babysitting, entertaining young children at weddings, and giving private lessons in all subjects. I've always loved children. In fact, I started studying for a higher degree in teaching and social-sports animation to become a children's activities teacher. Now I'm starting my internship at a rhythmic gymnastics school, and I'm really looking forward to it. I was also at that school for 7 years, and it brings back many fond memories.

My favorite hobbies are playing sports, traveling, blogging about travel, making plans with my family, friends, and partner, dancing, cooking, reading books, writing, spending time connecting with nature, making crafts, watching movies and TV shows, and taking care of my furry friends (my cats).

Now you're probably wondering why I want to be an Au Pair. Since I was 16, I've always wanted to take the plunge and go to a place I'm not familiar with on my own, learn about the culture, and enjoy that experience while working in something I love.

One day, I discovered these programs, where you go to another country as a nanny or teacher with a family to live the experience, and I loved it, but I didn't dare because I didn't feel qualified yet for that position. Since then, I've always wanted to try, but I didn't dare to take the plunge, until now.

In June, I'll finish my degree, and I didn't really know what I wanted to do next because I have so many ideas in my head, and although I'd like to do them all, it's not possible. So, I thought, why don't you take some time and go to another country to experience it the way you've always wanted, taking care of children. Now, I'm more qualified than ever because I've worked with children before. I also have a lifeguard certificate and know how to act in emergencies. That's why I decided to give it a try and take the plunge.

I am a very responsible, dedicated, organized, and focused person, as I mentioned before, with experience in childcare. I love spending time with them and helping them learn in different ways. In fact, I have a five-year-old cousin, and I often stay with her and spend quality time with her doing different activities, which is one of my favorite moments.

I am also very interested in cultural exchange, so I am excited to get to know their family and culture, and share part of my own. I am confident I can adapt well to their routine and help with anything they need.
