My name is Evelyn Araújo, I am 23 years old and I have a degree in Psychology, having completed my degree in 2024. Throughout my studies, I have developed a deep understanding of the importance of caring, empathy and emotional support for others. These qualities are not only fundamental to my profession, but are also principles that guide my life and my interpersonal relationships.

The reason I am applying to be an au pair in your family is the desire to grow, learn and make a difference in the lives of others, especially in the development and well-being of children. I believe that this cultural exchange will be an incredible opportunity to share my knowledge and at the same time learn from you. I have great affection and respect for different cultures and I am looking forward to living this enriching experience, creating a genuine connection with all members of the family.

In my personal life, I am an only child, but I also have an older brother. Since I was little, I was raised with responsibilities within the home, which allowed me to develop organizational skills, take care of the home and perform household chores efficiently. These experiences have made me a practical, responsible person who is able to deal with the demands of everyday life with serenity.

In addition, I have pets and caring for them is also part of my skills. I know how important it is to ensure that all members of the household, whether human or animal, receive the attention they need to feel safe and loved. This sensitivity and care that I have for my pets are characteristics that I will bring with me to your home, if selected.

I believe that I am a good candidate to be part of your family due to my professional and personal background. As a psychologist, I am naturally empathetic, patient and willing to listen. I know how to deal with challenging situations and I am prepared to provide a welcoming, safe and positive environment for children. I have experience caring for children of different ages and in different contexts, which has given me valuable skills to deal with the needs and care that they require. Furthermore, I am a responsible, organized and committed person, qualities that I consider essential for this role.
