Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Marcela,I’m 19 years old and I’m the youngest of six siblings. I have two nieces and one nephew, and I’ve been helping take care of children since I became an aunt at the age of 9. I enjoy painting, playing chess, taking photos, traveling, and exploring new places. I’m fluent in Spanish and English, and I’m currently at an A1 level in German.

I consider myself a very organized, responsible, and caring person. I also enjoy cooking (although baking isn’t my strength), and I know how to make healthy recipes fun and appealing for children—especially if they don’t like vegetables!

Why I Want to Be an Au Pair
I’m excited about becoming an Au Pair because I love learning about new cultures and sharing my own. Experience

Becoming an Au Pair excites me because it’s an opportunity to help a family in a meaningful way while experiencing a new culture. I enjoy spending time with children, but I also look forward to supporting the family in daily life, whether through helping with tasks, organizing activities, or just being a positive presence in the home.

Another important motivation is my desire to improve my German. I visited Germany as a tourist and fell in love with its culture, landscapes, and people, which made me eager to learn more and immerse myself in the language.

This experience is a chance to grow personally and professionally while becoming part of a family, sharing my culture, and creating lasting connections.
