my name is Mi-Kiong, you can call me Miky, more easy, I am 22 years old. I live in a cute and small city called Guia Lopes in Brazil,
I have some experience taking care of kids and I was happy doing that because they are very special and excited they always have something to teach us, like be more patient, happier and courageous, and we need to encourage children to enjoy every moment of their lives, and never lose the kindness in their hearts, that’s why I want to become an Au Pair, because I love children. I will enjoy the exchange program with my host family, while learning more about the culture and language while providing them with childcare and household care.

Experience

I have some experience taking care of kids and I was happy doing that because they are very special and excited they always have something to teach us, like be more patient, happier and courageous, and we need to encourage children to enjoy every moment of their lives, and never lose the kindness in their hearts, that’s why I want to become an Au Pair, because I love children. My experience with children started when I was 15 years old in 2016, I took care of my two cousins Lucas (13 years old) and Bia(11 years old) and in 2020 I took care of Samuel (8 years old) as a nanny and in 2023 I’m taking care of Alex (5 years old) as a volunteer nanny in my work because her mom is busy in the afternoons, I’m really enjoying these experiences, it’s nice to see how we mature and grow more taking care of such young children and I really want to try it in another country with a different culture and language. I’m sure it will be a nice challenge and experience to me as an au pair.
