Letter to the family

Dear Host Family,

I think that being an au pair is a good opportunity to get to know other cultures, people with whom you can build lifelong relationships and at the same time get to know yourself better in different life situations, which you cannot necessarily experience in your own country.
This is also why I think that the au pair has a big impact on the children, because overnight she/he begins to spend time with a person from a different culture, who is not related by blood, which determines her everyday life.
The children are very receptive to new things, so in a short time a very pure and loving relationship is formed, at the same time we gradually get to know each other with the host family and our relationship can be formed in which we can count on each other.

I have been worked with children for 3 years, which shows that I love spending time with them and I have many years of experience, which I am happy to share with others.

I hope we could learn a lot from each other while spending a great and experience-rich year in each other's company!

Experience

I really like the kids as they are so honest and open to the world which is admirable.
I think as an au-pair, my main job is to build a close relationship with the children, take care of them and support their development in every way I can. It’s a pleasure for me to see something I manage to teach them.

I also have practical experience with them, as I attended health high school for three years, where I gained internship in a hospital (2 months) in a nursery (1 month) and in a nursing home (3 weeks).
I wanted to be a midwife supervisor, but life opened a different path for me.

I learned Japanese as a hobby at home and in 2018 I had the opportunity to spend a year in Japan as an exchange student. So my biggest childhood dream came true. It had a very big impact on me. I had a sister and two brothers in my Japanese family. I became part of the family very quickly. I picked up their life rhythms and habits, but they also respected mine. We hiked a lot and the grandparents also came with us regularly. I spend time with my little brother who was eight played and talked to each other regularly.

In 2020, I worked as an au pair for 1 year in England with two families where I had great experiences. At the first family, I had to take care of a 1-year-old baby, 4- and 9-year-old boys, and at the second family, I had to take care of a 7-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl.

In 2022 I started working as a baby swimming and swimming instructor which I am currently doing and enjoying every moment of it!
During the classes that I teach, babies and children (3 months to 8 years old) acquire water safety, while I help them with unique water skills and ability development sessions, mixed with lots of singing and nursery rhymes, so the sessions are fun for everyone.

In addition to teaching I have been babysitting for a long time. I have experience from newborn babies to adolescents.
