Letter to the family

Hi! My name is Heiðdís and I am an almost 21 year old from Iceland!
I currently work at a school here in Iceland, therefore I have experience working with children from age 6-16.
I used to work as an air stewardess, but had to resign because of arthritis.
I love to travel (as you could probably guess from my previous workplace), I am extremely open to trying new things, immerse myself into other cultures and learning something new.
I have my own little furbaby at home, who is a Silky Terrier - therefore I have so much love for all animals.
I have a total of 6 siblings, both older and younger, who I babysat a lot as a kid, so I’m used to all the crazy that comes with having children or big families!
I traveled a lot through the US while working as cabin crew, and I really miss being there, so I’m looking forward to meeting my plus family somewhere in the US.

I want to find myself and experience new things. I think being an Au Pair would help me experience being on my own, since living in Iceland is like being at a family function at all times - we all know each other! I want to try moving to another country and experience life from another perspective.
