Hello!
My name is Annabell. I am a 20 year old student from Dortmund, Germany. I study primary school education in my fifth bachelor semester (written in Dec 24) because since I was a child, my dream was to become a teacher.
My interests consist of sport like going to the gym and sometimes when I am flexible in time, I love to play tennis.
Ten years ago, I started babysitting my parent’s friend’s children and never stopped doing that. I babysitted not just children from friends but also unknown children from parents who searched a babysitter online.
Furthermore, I participate in a catholic summer camp (called KjG Hagen) where I have fun with 20-25 children at a camping retreat for ten days every summer vacation. Our tasks are to plan different activities in nature (as we only live in tents without any warm water, electricity etc.) as well as cooking, playing games and just enjoying the time there.
I currently work in a social institution where children from the age of five to nine live because their families have issues with taking care of their children. I am responsible for their safety at night and an organized noon and morning routine. Apart from that, I support children with their homework and other school tasks.
As you may see, I do a lot of social work next to my educational career, which just makes me happy because of being able to help and support children with their needs.
