My name is Miriam, I am 23 years old and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Special Needs Education with a focus on German and English. I already hold a Bachelor of Arts in the same field and recently completed a six-month school internship at a school for children with special educational needs. From July to October 2025, I would love to support your family as an au pair and nanny.

Working with children and young people has long been a central part of both my academic and personal life. I have experience frequently babysitting my nieces and nephews (ages 1 to 9), and I have also volunteered as a group leader in my church, organizing and supervising weekly children’s activities, day trips, and holiday camps for children aged 6 to 10. In addition to this, I have completed internships in kindergartens, mainstream schools, and special education settings, and I currently provide tutoring in English, German, Biology, and Mathematics for children aged 8 to 12.

The idea of becoming an au pair combines two things that are very important to me: working with children and engaging in intercultural exchange. I’m excited about the chance to experience everyday life in an English-speaking country and to become part of a new family and community.

I am responsible, communicative, and reliable, and I bring both a professional educational background and a warm, empathetic personality to the role. My goal is to support your family in daily life, create a positive and safe environment for your children, and contribute meaningfully to your household.
