Hello dear future host family,

My name is Rika, I am 23 years old and will be finishing my studies to become a special needs teacher in winter 2024. Before I started my studies, I had already been accepted for a voluntary service in Norway, which was then unfortunately canceled due to Corona. That's why I now want to realize my dream of experiencing and exploring Norway. I also think that after my bachelor's degree is the perfect time to go abroad again before I start my career.

In the 4 years of my studies, I did various internships, including in a children's and youth home, in a horse riding therapy center in Vienna and in a residential group for young people with disabilities. I also worked with children for two years in a part-time job in a primary school.

So I have already been able to gain a lot of experience and could definitely imagine looking after a child with disabilities.
