Dear future host family!

I’m very pleased to meet you - let me quickly introduce myself so you can get a quick glance at my personality before you’ll find more information about me!

I’m Jamie, 23 years old and from Northern Germany. I’m currently in my last semester of my Bachelors (in the south of Germany) and will finish in the summer with my graduation being the last step in October 2024. I come from a relatively large family and love being around my family as often as I can. I have 5 siblings: 3 siblings I grew up with (I’m the 3rd child so one older brother and older sister and one younger sister) and then my two pretty young half siblings which are currently 3 and 8 years old.

I have previous childcare experiences with - in my opinion - the most important one being an Aupair in London (England) for a year. I was an Aupair in a British/Irish family of 5 and I took care of the 3 girls (ages 9 11 and 13 when I started) and had a lovely time there! I also took care of their little dog and had some household duties. Additionally I drove them around so I’m used to driving on the “other side of the road” quite good.
Otherwise I also tutored a kid in English and did babysitting. I also did an internship in a German kindergarten.
Playing with and looking after my half siblings was / is of course also something I enjoy a lot!

Personality wise: I would say that my friends would describe me as very friendly, trustworthy and open minded. Diligent and creative. I love travelling, learning new languages and going to the gym. Also cooking and baking! And occasionally obsessing over some tv-shows haha.

I would really love to get to know you better and get the chance to (hopefully) become your next Aupair, be a part of your family and care for your little ones!
