Letter to the family

Dear host family,
my name is Carlotta, I am a 19-year-old high school graduate (Abitur) from the northern part of Germany travelling and working in Japan since September 2024.
I enjoy swimming, dancing and cooking. Foreign cultures fascinate me as I always learn something about myself and my own culture and I enjoy meeting new people. I think it is important to get to know the world and for children the best opportunity is probably by having an Au-Pair. My mum is kindergarten teacher and I had an internship in a kindergarten as well as lived in a Jaoanese family in Ibaraki where I helped on their farm. Furthermore, I passionately teach people.

Experience

I was helping on a Japanese Farm in Ibaraki prefecture which was managed by three families with children. I enjoyed playing with them a lot, because they where so lively. Furthermore I already have experience in Germany in kindergartens. I think living with a host fa,ily is a good experience to learn about the host country's culture more deeply.
