Letter to the family

Hi families!! My full name is Agostina but everyone calls me Tina!! I’m 26 years old. I’m from Argentina. Currently living in Highland Park, Illinois states, it’s Chicago suburbs! I have been living here as an Au Pair of a beautiful family, taking care of two boys! It’s has been a incredible experience for me and now I’m looking for my next challenge.
I like traveling, hiking, swimming, cooking, crafts, reading, outdoor activities, ride bikes and roller skating. I like live nearby the beach, even if it’s a lake!
I love make new friends from different countries, sharing my culture and experiences around the world.
I’m very funny, independent, intelligent, kind, productive, proactive, responsible, respectful, easygoing, cool and social person.
I learned to drive when I was 13 years old so I’m a stronger driver, I’m manual and automatic driver.
Being Au Pair and taking care of children has been the most fulfilling thing I’ve had. Be part of a new family, living and learning about new culture, watching and enjoying children’s growing.
So now I’m ready for learn and grow even more, know a new continent and learn new things.

Experience

I had been working with kids for 2 years as an Au Pair in Highland Park. They are 2 kids, both boys. The younger was 7 when I arrived, we will be 9 in June. The older was 9 when I arrived, we will be 11 in July. They are both in elementary school during the week. And they have extra activities after school. My main task are waking up the kids in the morning, feed them the breakfast, make the lunches, getting them ready to school. After school, I wait them with the snacks, sometimes we cook cakes, cupcakes, smoothies or banana bread. And then I drive them to the extra activities. And by the end of the day I usually feed them the dinner. I don’t have to do the sleep time, but sometimes I do it. My previous experience as an Au Pair was amazing. I liked so much that I need it to try in another country and experience it all over again. My motivation is my love for travel and know another culture. I want to be part of a new family. Make new connections with kids. I want to be a part of a family, like a big sister. Connect with the kids and the parents and learn a lot of new things from a new perspective.
