Dear Host Family,
My name is Samuel, and I am a 21-year-old Colombian currently working as an au pair in Germany. My experience so far has been amazing, and I have adapted well to living in a new country, learning the language, and working with children. Now, I would love to continue this journey by spending another year as an au pair, preferably in Austria, Luxembourg, or Switzerland.

I consider myself a responsible, patient, and active person. I love sports, especially football (soccer), which I play regularly. Staying active is a big part of my lifestyle, and I believe it helps me stay energetic and positive when working with children. I also enjoy cooking and have experience in the kitchen, so I can prepare meals and share some Colombian dishes with your family!

My current host mom can provide a recommendation letter to share more about my experience and dedication. I have a good level of conversational English, even though it is not perfect, and I am actively learning German. I am currently at a basic level but improving every day through courses and practice—I am getting closer to reaching B1.

I love spending time with kids, playing with them, and helping them learn new things. I always try to create a fun and safe environment for them while also being a responsible role model. Additionally, I enjoy driving and have experience doing so daily, which could be helpful for a family that needs assistance with transportation.
