Hello! My name is Mikayla. I'm a 20-year-old living in central California. I have a passion for working with children and find myself looking for opportunities to spend time with them in various social and academic settings. I am a very enthusiastic and energetic person who enjoys finding ways to tap into my creative side. Over the past 5 years I have had the privilege to gain experience working with children ages 1-12 through tutoring, teaching, and nannying. With my current nanny job, I love finding ways to grow and experience life together with the little 5-year-old girl through interactive and creative activities. It has been a lifelong goal and dream of mine to experience life in multiple different countries. Traveling helps me continue to grow out of my comfort zone and experience things I never thought possible. If you are looking for a young woman who will bond with your children and grow with them then I hope you consider me. Experience

As mentioned before, two of my biggest passions are working with children and traveling. When I discovered Au Pair, I felt immediately drawn to the opportunity to combine the two. I believe that the world is a big, beautiful place filled with amazing people and experiences. I hope to be a person who is constantly adapting, learning, and growing through travel. As an Au Pair I would be able to learn about a new culture and way of living through the lense of a local rather than a tourist. Similarly, I would be given the opportunity to share my memories and experiences from my own hometown. I love working with children and find their curiosity and ability to think creatively inspiring. I think there is a lot that I can learn from children and their unique experiences.
