Dear Family,

My name is Laura, and I am an 18-year-old girl from a small town in Denmark called Holte. From the ages of 5 to 11, I lived in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, in a city called Lausanne. Because of this experience, I have developed strong language skills in both English and French, which I believe will be beneficial in communicating with your family.

Ever since visiting France as a child, I have been captivated by the French culture, language, and way of life. The idea of immersing myself in a new environment, while also making a positive impact on a family’s daily life, is what has drawn me to the Au Pair experience. I see this as a wonderful opportunity to combine my love for children, cultural exchange, and personal growth.

I would love to become your Au Pair because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and helping them learn and grow. Throughout my teenage years, I have gained extensive experience babysitting for families in my community, taking care of children of different ages. Additionally, I have taken care of my neighbor's children, aged 4 and 6, which has further strengthened my ability to engage with and nurture young kids. I am a responsible, caring, and patient person who enjoys creating fun and educational activities that engage children and make their days enjoyable.

What makes me a great candidate for this role is my dedication to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for your children. I am independent, adaptable, and eager to learn from new experiences. I also have a great sense of responsibility, and I understand the importance of balancing fun and discipline when taking care of children. Additionally, my language skills in English, French, and Danish will allow me to help your children improve their language abilities, if desired.
