Elisa (18 / Ms. ), Danish, Student living in Denmark looking for Au Pair & Live-in Tutor job in China for 12-24 Months

My name is Elisa M.M, I’m 18 from Denmark. I will graduate this summer with 5 - A-levels subject "History, Danish, Mathematics, English and social studies" ( A-level is the highest level you can have if you don't include the level at the university). Besides taking care of my schooling, I also participate in “ATU”. "ATU” stands for: "academy for talented young" where I graduated this semester. I have also participated in "Masterclass" and "Intermat" and to keep it simple is it, math classes, at the university level, where I have learned some of the math behind programming and learn about irrational numbers.

Right now, I still live with my mom. I have chosen to live at home because I am saving some money, so I can buy my own apartment someday. I know how to clean, cook and do my own laundry. Since I have been a little girl I have always helped my parents. They have taught me to take responsibility for my actions and have always supported me in the decisions I have made.

My friend sometimes says that they admire my stubbornness in a positive way. It has helped me to reach some of my goals and achieved all the things I have put an effort into. So, even though it sometimes puts me in some "bad" situations, have my friends and me always laugh afterwards. I am a girl who always stays positive and has always looked on the bright side. These are some of the reasons why I also love to meet others (people I don't know yet).

Travelling has never been a problem for me. I actually love travelling, because it gives me a feeling of curiosity. Seeing other cultures and norms from what I am used to always intrigues me. Trying new things (like food) and doing something I have never done before makes me feel alive. That is why I sometimes see the world in a different way. For me is the world not scary or horrible but an intriguing and mesmerising place to explore. I, therefore, have a great knowledge of European culture and I also have inside knowledge of other cultures because some of my friends who are from Austria, Germany, Scotland and Italy have shown and told me how their country is compared to others. I will therefore love it if you and your family will consider me to become a member of your family. I can help and tutor your child in lots of things (school-related and other things) and I will try my best to make your child feel like I am a big sister who only wants to guide him/her forward in life.

I would like to share the Danish culture with my host family, on how welcoming, warm and hospitable the Danes are. I speak English so I can teach your child/children how to speak it. I know how to cook Danish food but I'm very open to being taught how to cook other cuisines. I'm a warm and very outgoing person and I love meeting people.
