Emma (21 / Ms. ), Scottish, Student living in United Kingdom looking for Au Pair job in Belgium, France, Luxembourg & Switzerland for 1-2 Months

Both of my parents have many siblings and thus, I have grown up around many children of varying ages. I've spent a lot of time with them throughout the years, be that entertaining them at family events or helping them with their homework. I also tutored maths and took part in paired reading with younger students throughout my final year at school and just genuinely love spending time with my pupils.

I'd love for an opportunity to put my French into action and explore the nuances that France has to offer! Although I feel confident speaking French, I feel that time in the country is needed to refine my spoken language. The last time I visited was before the pandemic in 2019, I stayed with a family in Toulon for 10 days, went to school there and fully immersed myself in the culture. This was such an amazing experience and only increased my love for the language (and the food) further. There isn't anything that beats French bread and it's been too long since I've had it !

I feel that working as an au pair would combine both of these elements perfectly, allowing me to both develop my language skills and interact with children and help them to grow and develop as people :)
