Dear Family

My name is Nehir, and I am from Istanbul, Turkey. Currently, I am taking a gap year while preparing for my future studies. Growing up with my mother and learning to care for my relatives’ children from a young age, I developed a deep sense of responsibility and a natural ability to nurture others. These experiences have shaped me into a person who is not only capable of providing excellent childcare but also adaptable, resourceful, and well-rounded.

I am passionate about becoming an Au Pair & Nanny because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and contributing to their growth and development. My upbringing in a single-parent household taught me to be independent and responsible, which allows me to balance caregiving with other tasks efficiently. My experience in looking after younger family members has provided me with the practical skills to care for children of various ages, ensuring that I can offer them support, attention, and a positive environment.

What sets me apart as a candidate is my strong background in various fields, which has helped me develop a diverse set of skills. I have had the opportunity to be involved in leadership roles and projects that require responsibility and effective communication. For instance, I founded and led an Entrepreneurship Club at my school, organized and managed multiple community events, and actively participated in various volunteer initiatives. These experiences have allowed me to hone my time management, organizational, and leadership abilities, all of which are essential when taking care of children.

In addition to my childcare experience, my academic journey has always been a priority. Experience

Although I have not yet had formal experience as an Au Pair, my background in caring for children and my ability to balance responsibilities have provided me with a strong foundation for the role. Growing up with my mother and being entrusted with the care of my relatives’ children from a young age, I developed a natural affinity for nurturing and guiding younger individuals. I have always taken pride in my ability to connect with children and ensure that they feel safe, supported, and engaged. These early experiences shaped my understanding of the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency in caregiving.

As for my desire to become an Au Pair & Nanny abroad, it stems from my passion for cultural exchange and the opportunity to contribute to a family in a meaningful way. I have always been drawn to learning about different cultures, and I see this role as an incredible opportunity to immerse myself in a new environment, while also sharing my own values and experiences. Being an Au Pair abroad will allow me to grow personally and professionally, all while offering a positive and enriching experience for the children I care for.
