Dear Host Family,

My name is Helen, I am 21 years old and I live in Istanbul, Turkey. I graduated from Fenerbahçe Anatolian High School and I am currently studying English Language and Literature at Istanbul Aydın University. My English level is B1, and my German is at an A1 level, which I am currently working to improve.

The main reason I want to become an au pair is to experience a new culture, improve my language skills, and gain personal and professional experience by spending time with children. I have not had the opportunity to travel abroad before, so this program will be a great chance for me to grow, explore, and challenge myself in a positive way.

au pair attracts me not only because of its high quality of life and natural beauty but also because I feel a strong connection with the lifestyle and family values there. I consider myself a warm, patient, calm, and adaptable person with strong communication skills. I have been taking care of my nephew—who is now 6 years old—for several years, and this has given me hands-on experience in childcare. I also worked in a Disney-themed children’s event, which allowed me to interact with kids in a creative and fun environment.

By welcoming me into your home, you would not only be gaining someone to care for your children, but also someone who can truly connect with them, support their development, and create a joyful and trusting environment. I am excited to share my own culture while also learning from yours, and I hope to build meaningful bonds with you and your family.

In the future, I plan to study International Relations, and I believe this experience will be a valuable step toward that goal. I love drawing, reading books, exploring nature, and discovering new places. I would be more than happy to share these interests with your children in a fun and educational way.
