Letter to the family

My name is İlayda, I’m 24 years old and studying French Translation and Interpreting in Istanbul. I also work in a Michelin-starred restaurant, which has taught me discipline, responsibility, and how to adapt to different people and environments.

I want to become an Au Pair & Nanny because I enjoy spending time with children and believe childhood is a key stage in life. My mother studied Child Development, and I’ve always been interested in psychology. I’ve also volunteered with children with leukemia and joined therapy sessions for children with autism, which gave me a deeper understanding of different needs.

You should host me because I’m caring, open-minded, and eager to learn about your culture while supporting your family with love and respect. I may not have formal nanny experience, but I’ve taken care of my niece and have a natural connection with children.

I believe I’m a good fit for this position thanks to my volunteer work, my curiosity for cultures and languages, and my calm, responsible personality

Experience

Although I don’t have professional experience as an Au Pair or Nanny, I’ve spent a lot of time caring for my young niece, which helped me become more patient, playful, and responsible.
