Dear Host Family,

My name is Tara, I’m 23 years old, and I’m from Turkey. I've also lived in France for half a year for my Erasmus study program. I’m writing to express my genuine excitement and interest in becoming an au pair with your family.

I’ve always had a deep love for spending time with children—it brings me joy, energy, and a real sense of connection. While studying abroad in France as part of my Erasmus program, I worked as a nanny couple of times, and it turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. From playing, helping with homework, to simply being there as a friend and support, I realized how much I enjoy being part of a child’s daily life and growth.

Outside of childcare, I’m passionate about dance and figure skating, both of which keep me active and grounded. I love bringing creativity and movement into everyday routines, and I’d be thrilled to share some of those interests with your children, if they’re interested too!

One of the things that draws me most to the au pair experience is the opportunity to immerse myself in new cultures, explore new places, and learn languages. I’m an adventurous and positive person, always eager to learn and connect. I see being an au pair not just as a job, but as a cultural exchange—one where I can offer care, warmth, and responsibility, while learning from your family and your way of life.
