Dear Host Family,

I have developed my “Spirit of Adaptation” for each situation and empathy to make every circumstance the best that it can be.

2020 was a difficult year for everyone, but I decided to spend it focusing on my passions:

I play the acoustic guitar
I practice yoga nearly every day for my body and mind wellness
I am an in-line skater . In my home city there is a dedicated roller blade team which I train with. This means I have the opportunity to learn more skills such as balance, speed and tricks.
I read books of every genre and in different languages (English, French and Arabic). This gives me the sensation of travelling without leaving home.
I also enjoy chilling out, such as watching a movie or series or going for a walk.

I was born and raised in Italy, so I have an Italian school education. While I was in primary school, I took Arabic courses (reading and writing) and because my family is of Moroccan heritage.

I am very grateful for this because it has opened my mind with two different languages and ethnicities.

At the age of 14, I was in Broadstairs, United Kingdom for a three weeks full school exchange

At the age of 15, I stayed one month in Paris at my uncle’s house. Thanks to my cousins I had the opportunity to improve my French proficiency
I learned German at school, but unfortunately, I have never had the opportunity to visit Germany or to speak with Germans. Therefore, my German knowledge is basic

I am a vegetarian, so I do not eat meat at all. I occasionally eat fish.

I try to avoid dairy products for environmental reasons but sometimes I eat them because they taste so good. My diet is just my lifestyle choice and I don't impose it on anybody.
