Hello, how are you?
Let me introduce myself, my name is Yuliana Cuervo, I’m 27 years old, and I currently live in Itagüí, Colombia with my mother, my older brother, and two beautiful cats.

I am a social worker by profession, and I also have a certification as an administrative assistant. For the past 3 years, I have been working in the administrative field, but I also have experience in the social sector working with various population groups.

In my free time, I usually go to the gym, typically three days a week, and I also enjoy self-teaching English.
I like quiet places, and my favorite activity is watching movies or TV shows with my family or friends.
I love spending time with my family and pets. My life motto is that this is something money can't buy, which makes me a very family-oriented person.

I am a responsible, respectful, calm, empathetic, honest, curious person, eager to keep learning and meet new people and places.

Experience

About a year ago, I learned what it means to be an au pair, and I became very interested and excited to learn more. I’ve waited a reasonable amount of time to prepare myself and be ready both financially and mentally.

I’ve always liked the idea of getting to know other countries, and this seemed like a great opportunity. Although this would be my first time as an au pair, I have already had experience working with children and teenagers thanks to my profession as a social worker, a career I graduated from in 2020. Similarly, during my high school years, we were required to complete community service, and at that time, I chose a local daycare to do so, where I had to go in the afternoons after my classes for 4-5 hours every day for approximately 6 months.
