Bonny (18 / Ms. ), American, Cashier living in USA looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Spain for 6-12 Months

Hello potential host family,

My name is Bonny. I am eighteen years old and live in the United States. I recently graduated high school in the top five percent of my class, and am now pursuing an education at my community college. I am the oldest of six children with dozens of younger cousins as well. I spend most of my free time reading, writing, and watching films.

I have two main reasons for wanting to become an Au Pair and Nanny. For one, I want to improve my fluency in Spanish. My family is Cuban, so I grew up speaking both English and Spanish. While I am fluent in Spanish, I hope an extended stay in Spain will help me broaden my vocabulary and advance my grammar in writing. The second reason is that I want to travel and experience the world outside of the USA before I settle into a four year university. Some of my family currently lives in Tenerife, and others used to live in Barcelona, and they have all told me how beautiful Spain is. This makes me want to visit.

What you as the host would be getting out of the deal is a hard-working woman with a natural skill for caring for children. As I mentioned earlier, I am the oldest of six children, so I have spent most of my life helping to raise them. I have also been baby sitting my neighbor's children since the time I was fourteen. Now that my grandparents are becoming elderly and are often sick, I also help care for them sometimes. I have always been very determined in hard-working in everything I do, which ranges from schoolwork to paid work to house work. I hope to be of help in your household for whatever it is you need me to do.
