Dear Host Family,

My name is Ingrid, I am 29 years old, and I am Brazilian, currently living in João Pessoa. Working with children has always been my passion, something I have developed over more than eight years in early childhood education and supporting children with learning difficulties. My degree in Pedagogy, along with my specializations in Neuropsychopedagogy, Literacy, and Early Childhood Education, have given me the knowledge and sensitivity to understand each child’s individual needs and help them grow in a nurturing and respectful way.

Becoming an au pair is much more than just a cultural exchange for me. I see this experience as an opportunity to combine my vocation with immersion in a new culture, improve my English, and broaden my worldview. Taking care of children in a family environment and being part of their daily lives is something I do naturally and with great affection. More than just supervising, I enjoy creating educational moments, telling stories, encouraging learning, and, of course, ensuring a safe and happy environment.

I believe I would be a great fit for your family because I am patient, responsible, and creative. My experience has taught me how to handle different child personalities, understand their emotions, and support their development in a playful and loving way. Additionally, I am organized, proactive, and easily adapt to new routines.
