Letter to the family

Hello!

I'm Yetti. I am from Bulawayo in Zimbabwe, but I'm currently based in South Africa. I live with my parents and 4 younger siblings, I also have 3 who are older than me.

I spend most of time with my family and friends and volunteering. I love photography! In my free time, I like to read, do research, learn languages, listen to music or anything psychology. French is one of my favorite languages and I am also teaching young children at my flat. I really love science. In February I started a nonprofit that provides science resources and knowledge to young people and under resourced communities.

At the moment, I work as a tour guide at a local organization. I enjoy this job very much, because I am able to bond with many of people of diverse backgrounds. I also work as a virtual assistant from time to time.

I love taking care of children! When my siblings were younger, I also took care of them, when our parents came this side. Through that, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around!

Thank you!

Regards,

Yetti

Experience

I've been babysitting and tutoring for 5 years, children make me incredibly happy and delighted. It's something I've always enjoyed and its also taught me responsibility. You also get to see firsthand children grow under your care.

I also tutor maths, science and language as to most kids in my flat and volunteer to do so at non profits nearby. It's a very nice experience because they always so excited and happy to see what I want to show and teach them.

I want to go to abroad as an au pair because of the great opportunity to meet different people of different levels of privilege and walks of life, that'd be something. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend time taking care of kids!

About me

I would describe my self as caring and responsible yet optimistic. I have quite a combination of interests. I love art, science and studying. Since I was young, I’ve always been fond taking of children. I enjoy the positive exchanges with them. I would love to be a Pediatric Neurosurgeon! But I also have interests in human behavior and the mind. After being an Au Pair, I am going to study medicine, psychotherapy or psychology.
