Dear Host Family,

My name is Lauany, and I am excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair in Germany. I am 22 years old and currently studying History at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora in Minas Gerais, Brazil. My passion for learning about cultures and history has driven me to explore different perspectives, and I believe that living in Germany will be an incredible way to immerse myself in a new cultural experience while contributing to a family's daily life.

I am a native Portuguese speaker and fluent in English, which I have studied by myself. Additionally, I am currently learning German on my own, as I deeply admire the German culture and hope to integrate into it as much as possible. My goal is to improve my language skills and fully embrace the daily life, traditions, and values of a German family.

I have always been responsible, communicative, and adaptable, which I believe are essential qualities for an Au Pair. My experience balancing university studies, work, and self-learning has helped me develop strong organizational skills. I also have experience with children, as I am an aunt to four wonderful kids. Spending time with them has taught me patience, creativity, and how to care for children's needs in a loving and responsible manner. I enjoy engaging in activities that promote their creativity and learning, and I am always attentive to their well-being.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have a deep appreciation for history, education, and intercultural exchange. I am eager to share aspects of Brazilian culture with my host family while also learning from them. I am confident that this experience will be mutually enriching, and I am ready to embrace new challenges with enthusiasm.

Experience

Although I have not officially worked as an Au Pair before, I have significant experience caring for children as an aunt to four wonderful kids. Being actively involved in their daily routines has taught me patience, responsibility, and creativity. I have helped with their schoolwork, planned engaging activities, and ensured they felt supported and encouraged in a loving environment. This hands-on experience has strengthened my passion for working with children and my ability to adapt to their needs.

I want to become an Au Pair abroad, particularly in Germany, because I see it as an incredible opportunity for personal and cultural growth. I deeply admire German culture and traditions, and I have been learning the language on my own to prepare for this experience. Living with a German family would allow me to improve my language skills, fully immerse myself in the daily life of the country, and gain a deeper understanding of its customs.

Furthermore, as a History student, I am fascinated by the opportunity to experience history and culture firsthand. I believe that cultural exchange enriches both the host family and the Au Pair, creating meaningful connections and lifelong memories.
