Letter to the family

My name is Heloísa Santos, I am currently 17 years old, but I will turn 18 on April 16th. I am interested in becoming an Au Pair in the United States because it is the country I fell in love with the first time I visited. I would like to have new cultural experiences, improve my language skills, and of course, gain professional advantages for the future.

I believe I should be chosen by the hosts because I consider myself a reliable person who knows how to handle children and, above all, is very interested in creating new experiences.

I dream of becoming a psychologist, specifically working in schools, helping children and adolescents, as I believe this is a critical age when our minds are still developing, and we need support to navigate our challenges. This is the course I plan to pursue in college next year, which I believe will provide me with valuable knowledge and will also be beneficial in my role as an Au Pair, taking care of children.

Experience

I have an inexplicable fondness for children; they are the most innocent beings, with pure hearts full of love. I believe I would fit well in the role of a "babysitter" because I have always known how to interact with them, give them the attention they need, and make them feel comfortable with me.

I am also a sociable person who knows how to build friendships, even in professional environments. I have good communication skills, and I believe this is of utmost importance in jobs like this, where socialization is essential.
