My name is Mari, and I am a dedicated and enthusiastic young teacher from Finland. Although I do not hold an official teaching qualification, I have several years of experience working as a class teacher with children aged 8-11, as well as younger and with older pupils. Through these roles, I have developed strong teaching skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a warm and supportive approach to working with children.

I am drawn to the Au Pair opportunity because it allows me to combine my passion for working with children with my interest in cultural exchange. I am excited by the idea of becoming a part of a family’s everyday life, supporting children in their learning, and experiencing a new culture in a meaningful and personal way.

Despite not having a formal teaching degree, I have successfully worked as a class teacher for multiple years leading my own class and teaching a variety of subjects including textile crafts, English, and physical education. My teaching style is student-centered, creative, and supportive. I am also confident in using digital tools in learning, which can be a valuable asset in tutoring.
