Dear Host Family

I'm Martina, a 20-year-old exchange student from Spain currently studying in Copenhagen.

I'm currently in London as an au pair with a wonderful family since October. My current host family can provide a reference if needed.

*MY PERSONALITY:*
I’m a sociable and cheerful girl, I like to meet new people with different cultures. I am active and energetic. I would say I’ve an ENFP personality type (Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Perceiving).

I don't like to waste time and I always have my hands full. In my free time I like play sports or spend time with my friends. I’ve been in London for 4 months and I didn’t know anyone before moving, but now, I’ve an amazing group of au pairs friends!! I’m passionate about fashion, art music and traveling.

*MY FAMILY:*
I’m part of a seven (plus a dog) members family. I’m the second oldest of five siblings and I have grown up taking care of them. I’ve also worked as a nanny previously so I have a lot of experience. I love children and in fact, I started being a babysitter without even getting paid simply because I enjoyed it.

*MY EDUCATION:*
I’m currently studying Marketing Management and Business at an International University in Denmark. I decided to study abroad after getting graduated in High School in Spain. Currently, I’m taking a gap year from my studies as an au pair in London.

*HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:*
I’ve always been signed up for extracurricular activities after school. I spent ten years doing ballet professionally for what I know what discipline is. I do, in fact, hold a Dance degree from the Royal Academy of Dance. I’ve also practiced golf, tennis, surfing, and many other activities – my parents hated having us at home doing nothing.

I love art and fashion and I would definitely love to focus my studies in this area in the future.

*MY LANGUAGE SKILLS:*
My mother language is Spanish, and I’m fluent in English.

*MY EXPERIENCE WITH KIDS:*
Since I was little and cared for my three little brothers. I was also working for three summers full time taking care of three small children six days a week every morning. I have also babysat at night and even helped the teachers at my school for fun. I’ve been an au pair in a wonderful family in London for 4 months.

And by the way, I can cook too!
