I have a stable job here in Thailand with a good pay compared to the pocket money of being an au pair but as someone who is away from her family it’s already a huge deal for me that I can get to work to people that can treat me as their family so I am still willing to apply if you are looking for someone who will truly take care of your child/children. It’s actually sad for me to leave my students if ever I became an au pair because I really love them as my own even though I haven’t experienced having a child yet but it’s more like I treat them as my family or younger siblings. While teaching 19 students, make me realized that I want to focus on kids who I can be a big sister to them.

I have versatile experiences with kids from different age groups. As for having experience with babies and kids, I just want to share a little background of my family. I am the eldest daughter and granddaughter and we live in one roof together with my grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins when we were young. I may have my one and only brother but at a young age, I also had the chance to take care of my cousins when they were a baby since I am the eldest among them. I've also been babysitting them as they grow up so I'm familiar with the job. For others, it may be a burden to be the eldest since you have to be the one who will take care of your younger siblings but as for me I love taking care of kids that it became a passion of mine. Even up to this day, I take care of my students as if I’m their big sister. They might not be a baby anymore but I’m teaching primary 1 and for me they are still a baby whom I love to take care of.

I want to become an au pair abroad simply because I want to fulfill my passion as someone who loves traveling, visiting new places and also kids.
