I worked as a babysitter for 6 years now. I started babysitting when I was 15 years old and babysat Sara for 3 summers (summer 2014., 2015. and 2016.) when she was 1 year old to when she was 3 years old. Sara was a bright little girl, she was very calm and neat for a child. It was a pleasure babysitting her as she was so polite and nice. Our outdoor activities included going to the beach, going to the park and playing games.
After that, I was babysitting Katherina for 3 years, from spring of 2017. until the summer of 2020. I started taking care of Katherina when she was 6 months old and practically got to see her grow up as I was babysitting her throughout the whole year. Katherina is a very active and intelligent child, loves to be goofy and smiles a lot. She doesn't tire easily so taking care of her was a bit of a challenge which I think strengthen me in a way. I had lot more responsibilities when taking care of Katherina, especially when she was younger. I was feeding her, bathing, changing diapers, putting to bed etc. We also had a lot of fun - going to the beach, driving to the mountins, learning to ride a bike and so on. It was magnificent seeing her grow from being a small prematurus (she was born one month earlier and was in an incubator for that month) to a healthy, vital 3-year-old she is now. Also, part of the summers that I got free when I was taking care of Katherina I worked as an educator at summer camps.
Early in life I discovered the joy of taking care of a baby, my sister to be precise, whom was born when I was eight years old. My drive for experiencing another culture and its monuments I discovered on my first journey to Bulgaria, where I went with my Folklore national dancing group. I would appreciate the opportunity to do what I love in a foreign country, which would provide me with getting to know another culture and its traditions.
