Weronika (21 / Ms. ), Polish, Student - Art / Commerce / Management living in Poland looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Spain for 2-2 Months

I started taking care of children at the age of nine when my cousins were born. I would take care of them every school break until I was fifteen and they were six. At the time being, when I was a child myself, I understood that looking after children is a huge responsibility. I loved spending time with my cousins because the most of time, they were happy and when I was having a bad day, they made me smile every time. Apart from that, I would also take care of children while volunteering at my old primary school. It was an amazing experience. They liked me a lot so some would confide in me. Thanks to that I would understand better what problems and needs school-aged children generally have. Helping ''problematic'' children who struggled at school I realized that bad behavior is not always their fault. Through that, they reply to the surrounding environment. Since September 2019 I've been babysitting now a 4-year-old boy and his sister who is 1,5 now. Primarily, as their parents are Slovak, I teach them the polish language. My favorite part of babysitting is that I'm constantly learning something from them. I admire the boy's curiosity about the world. He teaches me that we shouldn't be afraid of trying new things and that failure is not the end of the world. Thanks to him I found my inner child who wants to be creative, explore the world and ask questions. What is more, I was a personal tutor of two 16 years old teenagers. I helped them prepare for their English exams while finishing primary school. Furthermore, I took care of 2 girls aged 3 and 5 while teaching them English. Besides, I would occasionally take care of my neighbors' children or children from my friend's family during holidays.
