Dear Host Family:

My name is Lianet. I am 20 years old and was born in the westernmost province of my country, Pinar del Río. I lived there with my mother and my maternal brother until I began university and moved to Havana with my pet, Lana, where the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​is located. I am currently in my third year of university, which has allowed me to prepare to enter the world of education, translation, and interpreting.

I was fortunate to grow up in a close-knit and loving family, where communication and respect are paramount. My parents have always taught me the importance of empathy and understanding towards others, values ​​I consider essential in any environment, especially that of a host family.

Since I was little, I've had a passion for languages ​​and cultures. I love learning about different traditions and lifestyles, and I believe this au pair experience will be a wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture while sharing my own. I'm excited about the opportunity to teach and, at the same time, learn from you.

In addition to my studies, I greatly enjoy outdoor activities, such as walking along Havana's Malecón or exploring the beautiful landscapes of my province. I love music and dance, so I would love to share some of these traditions with your family. I also have a great love for animals, so if you have pets, it will be a pleasure to care for them.

I am a responsible, organized, and adaptable person. I am willing to help with household chores and take care of your children with all my love. I understand that being an au pair involves not only caring for the children but also being a support for the family as a whole. I am ready to take on that commitment and contribute to creating a harmonious and fun environment.
