Letter to the family
Hello family!
My name is Rocío and I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina, the country of tango, wine, mate and those who are passionate about soccer, I am excited to have the opportunity to become part of your family as an au pair.
I want to start by expressing my deep love for working with children and my excitement about the possibility of providing care and support to them as they grow and learn. My journey in childcare began in 2015 during my high school years. That's when I started taking care of my nephews and some neighborhood children. This initial experience exposed me to various needs, temperaments, and developmental stages of children. I learned to approach each child as a unique individual, attending to their preferences and creating an environment where they feel safe and comfortable. Each child has their own rhythm and way of acting, and I learned the importance of creativity and imaginary play. From activities like arts and crafts to outdoor adventures, I love encouraging exploration and learning through play. Furthermore, I consider myself a loving and affectionate person, always willing to listen and comfort children when they need it.
Becoming an au pair is not only an opportunity to share my skills and experiences, but also an opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture and learn from your family. I am excited by the possibility of sharing my Argentine cultural origin and getting to know yours. I firmly believe that cultural exchange enriches our lives and allows us to grow as people. I look forward to participating in activities that celebrate our shared interests and traditions, while embracing new experiences that arise from cultural exchange. I like to be with children and always take care of them with love. I think that being with children makes you more responsible, adaptable and teaches you to pay attention to what they do at all times. Patience is one of my main virtues and I believe it is essential in child care. I love participating in creative and educational activities with children, such as reading stories, painting, and playing outdoors. I am always willing to provide them with emotional support and create a warm and welcoming environment where they feel safe and loved.
