Letter to the family

Dear Host Family,

Hello! My name is Grace. I’m currently an aupair in Belgium and I’m looking for my next family after finishing my year in Belgium.

I'm from Indonesia. I used to worked as a Librarian in Korean Cultural Center. I'm an only child in my family, but because my mother works as a Teacher, I never felt like an only child. I always met my younger sister and brother from another parents. (Which my mom says that she had a lot of children because she's their second parent)

My mom tutored the kids at our house and I help her tutoring the some of the kids since I was in elementary school. I would went back home and help her to teach some of the kids to read and write. When I went to secondary school, I am active in Sunday school as an assistant.

After I graduate from high school I work as a Kindergarten Teacher in a small school near my house for 1 year, and then I work as a Librarian. I love working as a Librarian especially I get to learn a-lot more about Korean Culture but I missed my times working with kids.

Before coming to Belgium i also did volunteered to babysit at a daycare for 6months, most of the time I took care of the babies (4-9 months) and the toddlers (1-3 years).

Experience

Now I’m an Aupair in Belgium, my host kids are 2 boys, the biggest one(3years) is really active and really loves to play and joke around. Sometimes he can be a little aggressive but he’s such a lovely boy. The youngest was a baby (when I came he’s 9months) he easily laughed and giggles. He really loves to eat!
