My name is Ciara and I am a recent university graduate with a degree in History and Politics. I am writing to express my interest in becoming your Au Pair and to tell you a little more about myself and why I believe I would be a great fit for your family.

I have always enjoyed spending time with children. With a fifteen-year age gap between me and my younger sister, I took on a caregiving role early in life. I was often responsible for babysitting her, supporting her through different stages of childhood, and helping out with day-to-day routines. In addition to this, I have worked as a teaching assistant, where I supported children in their learning, play, and personal development. These experiences have given me both patience and confidence in caring for young people.

Becoming an Au Pair is something I am very excited about because it allows me to combine my love for working with children with the opportunity to learn a new language and immerse myself in a different culture. I see it as a chance to grow personally, contribute meaningfully to a family’s life, and build strong, lasting connections.

I believe I would be a great addition to your household. I am responsible, caring, and adaptable, with a genuine interest in supporting children in a warm and engaging way. My experience as both a babysitter and teaching assistant has equipped me with the skills needed to handle different situations with calm and care.
