Hello, my name is Antonia. I'm 19 years old and recently graduated from high school. I'm currently planning a gap year where I want to gain new experiences, improve my language skills, and immerse myself in a new culture.

I want to become an au pair because I love spending time with children, accompanying them in their everyday lives and supporting their development. At the same time, I'm excited to get to know a new culture and broaden my horizons. I see working as an au pair as a valuable life experience that can be very enriching both personally and culturally.

I have a lot of experience working with children, as I have two younger siblings myself – one is just six months old and the other four. Therefore, I learned from an early age how to take responsibility, be patient, and react flexibly. I'm loving, reliable, and adapt well to new situations.

Through my experiences with my younger siblings, I know exactly how important it is to care for children lovingly, but also with the necessary structure. I regularly looked after them, played with them, fed or changed their diapers, and helped them with everyday tasks. This practical experience makes me a reliable and competent support in everyday family life.
