Dear future host family,
My name is Claudia and I am a 19 year old girl born and raised in Sweden.

About me:
I am a happy, positive, and ambitious individual. I am often described as fun, easygoing, and loyal by friends, family, and employers alike. I maintain a positive outlook on life and strive for excellence in everything I do, including in my studies, work, and social interactions. I am driven by the desire to challenge myself and learn new things. In stressful situations, I remain calm and always do my best.

My hobbies:

I have always been passionate about horses. I have previously competed at a high level in eventing, but in recent years, I have primarily focused on recreational riding. Equestrian sports have shaped me into a resilient individual who is not afraid of hard work. My year-long experience as a rider reflects my dedication and commitment.
In addition, I am a social person who enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and experiencing new things. I am open-minded and receptive to new ideas!

Experience

Former experience and why I would like to be an Aupair:

In addition to spending time with and caring for my younger cousins and children of relatives, I have worked as a substitute in schools. I have served as a teaching assistant, student support, and after-school leader for children aged 6 to 12. I genuinely enjoy helping children and young people with their homework and schoolwork as well as playing and do activities.

I wish to experience a new culture and create lasting memories. I have previously studied in Madrid, where I lived with a host family, an experience I found incredibly rewarding. Getting to know a new family and a new country taught me so much, and I am deeply grateful for that experience. I am adaptable to my surroundings and the expectations placed upon me.

My experience as a lodger and substitute teacher has made me realize that I would truly thrive as an au pair!
