I was responsible for waking them up, giving them breakfast and making sure they brushed their teeth, getting them ready and dressed for school, taking them to school, helping them with their homework, keeping the house tidy and clean, cooking food for the children and doing shower and ready for bed. I have previous experience as a caregiver for the elderly in Brazil. I took care of my great grandmother when she had Alzheimer's, after which I worked as a volunteer in a nursing home, where I accompanied them by talking about their feelings and listening to them. I also helped them with food, dressing and bathing. My mother is also a graduate caregiver, and I would go to her work to help her and enjoy some time with the older people she cared for where I could develop even more skills. I have started to see how important it is to give them love, affection and support during this stage of life. I love old/old people. By nature I am passionate about helping people and providing assistance. I am respectful and appreciate the opportunity to learn with them. I am an empathetic and energetic person. I enjoy providing emotional assistance by talking to patients in difficult moments and can calm them effectively during panic cases.
