Hi !

I'm Eloise and I'm a 2nd Year student at Durham University studying Modern Languages and Cultures, specifically French and Spanish. As part of my degree, I get the chance to spend next year in French and Spanish speaking countries, and I would really like to do this as an Au Pair.

I enjoy spending time with children, in particular playing games and sports, and I believe that speaking to children is the best way to learn a language and fully immerse yourself in the culture of the region.

I am an active and outgoing person who can be fun and creative, but also responsible and serious when required. I have a range of hobbies and interests that lend themselves to working with children with a wide variety of personalities. I play Rugby for my university, as well as Netball recreationally and I am a qualified Level 2 Ski Instructor so it would be a bonus to be hosted by a family who either live near a ski resort or enjoy ski holidays. I also enjoy arts and crafts, specifically painting, sewing, and rug-making.

My experience as a Ski Instructor would lend itself well to an Au Pair role as it involved being responsible for up to 8 children at a time and teaching them in an interactive and stimulating way. I also have experience babysitting two young girls after school for a year.
