Hi! My name is Gia, and I am a student of English Literature at University College London. I am a highly creative person who loves the arts, storytelling, and working with children. Over the past three years, I have regularly babysat for several families, and I’ve developed a strong sense of both responsibility and fun when it comes to childcare.

I originally wanted to become an au pair because I love the idea of cultural exchange and immersing myself in a family dynamic abroad. I’m especially drawn to engaging with children — whether through creative activities, helping with homework, or simply being a kind and attentive presence.

Experience

I qualify for this role because of my extensive hands-on experience caring for children in multiple households, my strong sense of responsibility, and my ability to build meaningful connections with kids of all ages. I regularly babysit for local families with children between the ages of 5-12, developing a deep understanding of how to balance fun, learning, and routine. Alongside this, my experience as an English tutor has strengthened my ability to engage with children in an educational setting, helping with schoolwork while keeping them motivated and confident.
